How we work

Clear methods. Honest explanations.

Sumwick is responsible for the calculators and guides published here. We explain how results are calculated and where the assumptions apply.

Calculator checks

We test formula functions with ordinary examples and boundary cases. Pages state inputs, units, exclusions, and display precision. A result is only as useful as the costs and assumptions you provide.

Sources and dates

Changing platform rates require official sources, an actual verification date, and reviewed rate data. Generic algebraic tools use your inputs and do not imply a current platform fee schedule. Dates on guides reflect publication or actual review, not each website build.

Guides and assistance

Guides use worked examples and sources for external factual claims. Examples are illustrative, not customer results. Development and drafting may use coding or writing assistance; that does not replace source checking or formula tests. We do not claim review by a credentialed expert unless one actually reviewed the work.

Corrections

When an issue is found, we review the example, update the formula or explanation where needed, and rerun relevant checks. Use the contact page for the current correction channel.
